Jun 26, 2013 Hi there, I cannot seem to be able to run Vagrant on OS X (Mountain Lion, 10.8.4). Every time I try to boot a simple Vagrant instance by using: vagrant init vagrant up my VirtualBox instance 'crashes', or enters the 'guru meditation' sta. For people with the black screen problem or Guro Meditation error, change operating system version from macOS 10.13 High Sierra (64-bit) or macOS 10.12 Sierra (64-bit) to just the Mac OS X (64-bit) and If didn’t work then settle the Video Memory Size to 128 MB from Virtual machine settings. It should work this time without any issue because it has worked for a lot of people.
Hi,I have been trying to launch my Minix Virtual Image on the VirtualBox, but I continually get the Guru Meditation critical error upon booting up.
I have looked all over the internet and cannot for the life of me find out why this is happening. Suggestions of fixes to this problem that others have encountered have not worked for me. I was hoping someone here could help me out as I need this VM working sooner than later.
I have attached the log file to help give a better indication of what the issue is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My VM has recently begun crashing (comes up with the termination screen with the pic of some sort of guru on it). It has happened before but recently it happened a few times in a row when I tried to open the terminal window. The screen suggested I come here and share my log file to see if anyone can help, I have no idea what part of the log is relevant so here is the last few lines...

I'm at the stage where the VM will boot but I can't do anything with it as it just crashes.
Windows 8 is the host, Ubuntu is the guest...
